In short, aluminium shopfronts are powder-coated aluminium frontages, made to the measured opening. Every job starts with a survey so the work is made to your opening, not a guess.

Every frontage is fabricated to the dimensions taken on site, glazed with safety glass in the critical zones, and installed with the door hardware your insurer or fire risk assessment calls for. The frame is fabricated to the measurements taken at survey, so it fits the opening first time.
How we handle it
Most of our customers run one or two units and want the frontage sorted without closing for a week. We keep the process short: a visit, a written figure, then an installation date that works around the shop.

How much do aluminium shopfronts cost?
Guide price: from £2,450 plus VAT for a standard opening. The real figure comes from the survey measurements. Quotations stay valid for 90 days.
How long does it take?
Expect 3-4 weeks after drawing sign-off for manufacture. On site, most your jobs take one or two days. If you cannot close, we can work outside trading hours.

Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of the Midlands?
Yes. We cover your area and the rest of the Midlands, including Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Nottingham.
What guarantee do I get?
Every installation comes with a written guarantee, and manufacturer warranties on hardware, motors and finishes are passed to you. The terms are set out on your quotation.
Can you match the units either side?
On a parade where the landlord wants a consistent frontage, we work to the same section profile and colour reference so the unit reads as part of the row.
